Position: Access Coordinator II ( Ft. Smith)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Answer incoming calls and return patient voicemails promptly
  • Obtain and verify patient demographics, including date of birth, address, and phone number
  • Schedule patient appointments as requested and transfer calls to appropriate departments
  • Manage work queues efficiently and complete quarterly recalls for Well Child appointments
  • Backup front desk duties to ensure continuous coverage and verify insurance information
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Epic and other healthcare software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Knowledge of insurance verifications and billing procedures
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
