Overview

As a Team Leader on the 1st shift at our manufacturing plant, you responsible for leading the production team in such a manner to ensure production requirements, quality and delivery expectations of the customers are met, with a strong emphasis on power lean methodology. This position offers an opportunity to apply your leadership skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires frequent and variable lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the work of employees
• Maintaining strong communication with employees, other team leaders, and management
• Maintaining high quality procedures
• Upholding safety and housekeeping policies
• Enhancement of productivity
• Marinating area with inventory control in mind
• Maintaining equipment
• Setting up equipment
• Frequent and variable lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of up to 50 pounds
• Preform other duties deemed necessary by management

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience and/or training
• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and other departments
• Ability to frequently and variably lift, pull, push, and carry up to 50 pounds

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
