Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring an active AR or compact RN license and recent ICU experience.

• Position is in the Medical Intensive Care Unit of a hospital
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
• Care for critically ill adult patients in an intensive care environment
• 13-week contract assignment
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles are subject to additional local contract rules
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary critical care team
• Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
• Candidates who have completed three consecutive 13-week contracts at this local facility must separate for a year or work at a different client facility outside the 50-mile radius before returning

• Active AR or compact RN license is required at the time of consideration
• No expiring certifications within the first 30 days of assignment, unless renewal is already scheduled
• Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience required
• At least 2 years total nursing experience preferred
• No gaps in employment exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required;
  Canadian SINs not accepted
