Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an ICU Stepdown night position requiring an active AR or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

• Position is in the ICU Stepdown (3200 Step Down) unit
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment
• Patient population consists of stepdown-level care in a hospital setting
• Blocked scheduling may be permitted based on unit needs
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates living within 50 miles may receive a reduced pay rate
• Local contract staff within a 50-mile radius may complete up to three consecutive 13-week contracts at the same facility before a required 1-year break or transfer
• Documentation and credentialing must show no significant employment gaps for eligibility

• Active AR or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in ICU Stepdown or relevant specialty
• No employment gaps exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
• Current certifications must remain valid throughout the first 30 days of the assignment unless proof of renewal is provided
• A valid U.S. Social Security Number is required;
  Canadian SINs are not accepted
