Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown unit night shift position requiring a current AR or compact state license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

• Work in a hospital Stepdown unit
• Patient population typically consists of stepdown/intermediate care cases
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is permitted but must be made up within the assignment
• Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
• Local candidates within 50 miles may receive different contract terms
• Local staff may only complete three consecutive 13-week contracts before a one-year separation or transfer outside the 50-mile radius is required

• Active RN license in AR or compact state required at the time of consideration
• Current certifications must remain valid for at least the first 30 days of the assignment unless proof of renewal is provided
• At least one year of recent Stepdown specialty experience required
• At least two years total nursing experience preferred
• No employment gaps over 90 days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
