Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Stepdown position requiring an active AR or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

• Work in the Stepdown unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• Patient population includes those transitioning from critical to general care
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed and must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates living within 50 miles will have a different contract structure and may be restricted to three consecutive contracts before requiring a break or transfer
• Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
• Candidates must be prepared to provide all required documentation prior to their start date

• Active AR or Compact RN license is required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Stepdown or related specialty experience
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration with no impending expirations within the first 30 days unless renewal documentation is provided
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
