Nursing Director - Emergency Department

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all clinical and operational activities within Emergency Services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, trauma, and emergency care standards.
• Manage departmental budgets and resources to support cost-effective, high-quality patient care.
• Direct recruitment, staffing, employee relations, performance management, and workforce development.
• Develop collaborative partnerships across departments to improve patient care and operational performance.
• Support trauma program compliance and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the Life Line program, including utilization, compliance, service line growth, and marketing strategies.
• Monitor department performance metrics and implement continuous quality and patient safety improvements.

Qualifications:
Education
:
Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in the applicable state of practice. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience
:
Three to five years experience in a management or administrative position. Three to five years pertinent clinical experience.
Preferred Education
:
Master's Degree in Nursing/Administration.
