MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers and set expectations.
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
- Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
- Use technology with accuracy and efficiency despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and appropriate use of tools.
- Proactive: explore root causes of issues, forward‑think, ensure customers are satisfied and expectations exceeded, solution‑driven.
- Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs & competencies.
- Take pride in store appearance, help keep store clean, attractive, and organized.
- Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices.
- Be resourceful and self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results.
- Adhere to company policies & procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
- Embrace new technology & change.
- Previous customer service & retail experience.
