Position: Assistant Unit Supervisor for LPNs
Join The Meadows as an Assistant Unit Supervisor for LPNs, where you'll ensure compassionate, resident-centered care while leading a dedicated healthcare team. Make a significant impact in a supportive and mission-driven environment.

In this role, you will combine direct nursing care with supervisory responsibilities for CCA, Floor LPN, SSW, FSW, and ESW team members. You will utilize your expertise in assessments, medication management, and care planning to uphold the highest quality of care aligned with the Eden Alternative philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ongoing assessments with a focus on resident care

• Oversee the administration of medications and treatments

• Develop and update care plans collaboratively with the team

• Coach staff and address performance issues proactively

• Ensure compliance with all care standards and regulations

Requirements:

• Current LPN registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing

• Diploma in Practical Nursing and relevant experience

• Leadership skills with at least 2 years nursing practice

• CPR certification and knowledge in dementia care

• Experience with resident-centered care principles preferred
