Senior Financial Analyst

We are partnering with an established organization in the Twin Cities area that is looking to add a Financial Analyst to its corporate finance team.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys going beyond traditional financial reporting and wants to have a direct impact on how a business makes decisions. The Financial Analyst will work closely with leaders across the organization to provide financial insight around spending, investments, forecasting, and business performance.

The role offers exposure to multiple areas of the company and will partner with teams including operations, accounting, technology, engineering, supply chain, human resources, and senior leadership.

• Analyze company spending and provide leadership with clear insight into trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Assist with the annual budget and ongoing forecasting process, including reviewing assumptions and evaluating proposed expenditures.
• Develop recurring financial reporting that helps business leaders better understand operating expenses and investment activity.
• Partner with operational and corporate teams to evaluate and prioritize significant company investments.
• Build financial models to assess proposed projects using measures such as ROI, NPV, payback period, cash flow, and sensitivity analysis.
• Review completed investments to determine how actual financial results compare with initial expectations.
• Identify opportunities to make financial reporting more efficient through improved processes, automation, stronger data integrity, and Power BI.
• Provide financial support related to organizational risk and insurance activities, including renewal planning, claims-related analysis, and internal requests.
• Contribute to broader finance initiatives, including systems enhancements, ERP-related projects, reporting improvements, and process transformation.
• Translate financial information into practical recommendations that help leaders make informed business decisions.
