Job Title: Network Administrator - Associate

Job Location: Fort Campbell, KY

Purpose

The selected individual will provide IT automation and technical support services, including Network and Switch Operations, Systems Administration, Systems Integration and Testing, Configuration Management, Infrastructure Management, Network Administration, Desktop Support, End-User Support and Training, Hardware and Software Fielding, Quality Control, Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes Support, Network Security, COTS, GOTS, Software Applications, Documentation, Technical Writing, and Database Support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, maintenance, and usage of the organization's LAN.
• Establish network procedures for access, security, and documentation.
• Maintain network software and hardware inventories.
• Research software and hardware issues.
• Inform users of network problems.
• Monitor software licensing and maintenance agreements.
• Troubleshoot network issues.
• Report to PC Support Manager or Senior Network Administrator.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related field preferred, not required.
• Must be certified as IAT Level II per DoD 8570.01M.

Knowledge and Experience

• 2+ years of direct experience.
• Experience with DoD networks required.
• Familiarity with ITIL.
