Job SummaryThis announcement is to assist in building a pool of candidates for upcoming adjunct (part‑time) opportunities within the Computer Science Program in the Department of Natural and Computational Sciences. Currently, we are recruiting adjunct faculty to teach courses in Introductory Computer Science and any additional courses as needed by the Program. Courses will be offered in in‑person, hybrid, and/or online modalities.
Duties/Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate level Introduction to Computer Science and related courses in a face‑to‑face, online, or hybrid format.
- Teach courses as assigned by the Department Chair and maintain University policiesli>
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills and teamwork.
- 2‑3 years of experience at the university level.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Prior experience in teaching Computer Science undergraduate level courses.
- Experience gained during graduate training will be credited at ½ time.
