Assistant/Associate Professor of Mathematics

The position is a full‑time, tenure‑track appointment in the Department of Natural and Computational Sciences within the College of Arts and Sciences.

• Teach undergraduate mathematics, including theory, applications, and statistics, in face‑to‑face, online, or hybrid formats.
• Assign courses as directed, maintaining a minimum of ten hours of office time per week.
• Advising and active participation in student recruitment.
• Conduct research of good quality and strengthen the department’s program.
• Solicit external research funding.
• Assess student learning outcomes continuously.
• Plan curricula and review courses.
• Serve on departmental, college, and university committees.
• Engage in community outreach and professional service.
• Assist students in internships and job placement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ph.D. in Mathematics.
• Experience and coursework in differential equations, numerical analysis, abstract algebra, probability, statistics, or data science.
• Preference for candidates with graduate‑level statistics or data science training.
• Two to three years teaching at the university level.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Teamwork and collaboration with traditional and non‑traditional students.
• Demonstrated research and scholarly success.
