Electrical Design Technician – Jacobs

We are looking for an Electrical Design Technician to support our data center design team in the United States. The role involves working with Revit Technicians, Designers, Engineers, and Architects to design and draft drawings for facility design projects, preparing construction drawings for MEP systems.

• Design and draft drawings for building facility projects using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare construction drawings for MEP systems.
• Create and update Revit project templates and set‑up.
• Manage work sets, control visibility, and use Revit families and schedules.
• Collaborate with central and local file workflows.

• At least 7 years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD for building‑related designs.
• BS degree reduces this requirement by 1‑2 years.
• Proficient in creating and updating templates and project set‑up in Revit.
• Familiar with central and local file workflows.
• Experience managing work‑sets, visibility, parameters, families, and schedules in Revit.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills with Revit 2017‑2018, BIM
  360, Autodesk, BIM
  360 GLUE, and Navisworks.
• US citizen.

Base pay range: $66,000.00 – $90,800.00 per year. Salary is determined by location and experience.
