Gastroenterology Physician

Type of practice:
o Multi-specialty (23 different specialties), outpatient, physician owned facility. Our main campus is in Fort Walton Beach and we also have satellite offices in Destin, Niceville, Navarre, and Crestview.

• Type of employment:
o First 2 years, associate contract position. Immediately following the 2-year Associate contract, there is the option to be voted in as a Shareholder.

• Number of physicians:
o 46 doctors, 34 Allied Health Professionals (PA or ARNP)
o Gastroenterology Department: 2 doctors, 1 Allied Health Professional

• Requirements:
o US Resident or Green Card
o Board Certified or Board Eligible (will be required to take the test after completing residency/fellowship)

• Compensation:
o As an associate, the contract includes a base salary with a wRVU production model, which is based on a specific dollar amount per work RVU produced.

• Typical Schedule is:
o Monday Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

o Colonoscopy
o EGD
o Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
o PEG Tubes

• Practice Parameters:
o No patients under 18 years old
o Do not perform hemorrhoid surgery
o ERCP
o EUS
o No Gastric Bypass
o No Capsule Endoscopies
o Will evaluate gallbladder, but will not remove
