HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Pulmonology Critical Care Intensivist to join their busy and growing practice.

• Provide expert clinical care in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine.
• Engage in interventional pulmonology and critical care procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a team-oriented, patient-focused group.
• Participate in navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS training as applicable.
• Share in patient care duties within a busy ICU and outpatient setting.

• Board certified or board eligible in both Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
• Ability to obtain Florida Medical License and DEA.
• Comfortable with interventional pulmonology and critical care procedures.
• Interest/training in navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS.
• Team oriented and patient focused.
• Group is willing to consider an exceptional, newly trained fellow.

• Well established and highly respected group consisting of 4 physicians and 4 NPs.
• Combined inpatient Intensivist coverage for busy ICU and outpatient pulmonology clinic.
• Busy practice with strong community need and established referral stream.
• Collegial, physician-owned group allows for flexible schedule; shared call.
• 24-hour APP support.
• Training available on Monarch Robot.

Fort Walton-Destin Hospital’s interventional pulmonary and bronchoscopy program includes extensive robotic bronchoscopy and EBUS procedures, in-room cytopathology, and cytology support for rapid onsite evaluation. The hospital supports innovative capabilities in bronchoscopy and related interventional procedures.

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is a 331-bed, top-performing acute care hospital and level 2 trauma facility offering the area’s only Comprehensive Cardiovascular Program, Accredited Chest Pain Center, Joint Commission accredited Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Certified cancer center, Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Center. Currently hosting 3rd and 4th year D.O. students, established IM residency program with TY and EM starting in 2026.
