Join as a Civil (Design) Engineer (Data Centers) with Jacobs
. This role is open to candidates located anywhere in the United States, with preference for those near a Jacobs U.S. office but we are hiring the best candidates from across the country.

Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $/yr

As a Civil Engineer in Advanced Manufacturing, you’ll work on state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities, focusing on schedule and technical quality of civil design tasks.

• Site development, master planning, and site selection.
• Underground utility routing and site space planning.
• Hydrology analysis for design of storm drain systems.
• Design of gravitational wastewater systems.
• Preparation of final grading plans, including cut‑and‑fill analysis and earthwork balancing.
• Development of erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and support for permit approval.
• Research and adhere to local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for design and construction.
• Stormwater analysis and modeling in software such as Storm
  
  CAD and Civil Storm.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 8 years of engineering experience, including extensive related project experience.
• Strong working knowledge and experience in analyzing and designing all aspects of medium to large scale industrial developments.
• Demonstrated experience with all design modules of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.

• PE certification.
• Bluebeam experience.
• Experience using Navisworks.
