Our company is seeking an expert‑leader who is a noted authority in CO2 sequestration and its issues of environmental concerns, safe storage, bio‑chemistry of its treatment, transfer, and its responsible release or conversion into energy. Engineering and Management experience to scale of $5‑20M+ programs and ability to lead study scoping, experimental design, project management, procurement, installation and site acceptance testing of a prototype system leading to an Initial Operating Capability.

In particular, we are looking for nationally known candidates who are self‑starters, thought leaders, with a willingness to work together with others in a multidisciplinary setting to solve challenging technical problems. Some travel required.

• Formulate and lead CO2 sequestration design and offerings
• Lead the planning, experimentation, measurements, data analysis, and publication in national and international journals of relevance to the field
• Evaluate and instrument likely solutions and work with team toward integration, configuration, operations, and maintenance of the system
• Work inside of systems engineering processes, procedures, and best practices
• Provide engineering expertise to activities such as development, testing, evaluating, training and configuration management in support of a program
• Provide technical support to evaluate and integrate new capabilities
• Work with system, hardware, and software teams to design solutions to meet requirements
• Work with test team to ensure that the solution meets program requirements

• Relevant national publication and presentation experience
• Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
• High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite

• Doctorate in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
• Proven academic credentials
• Thought leader in CO2 sequestration
• 10+ years faculty experience and industry experience combined
• Technical expertise in instrumentation
• Ability to travel internationally
• Ability and motivation to work with minimal direction

• Second graduate degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
• Operational experience in ocean and industrial settings including storage integrity monitoring and environmental affects
• Internationally recognized academic credentials
• Referred journal publications
• Forum leadership at national meetings on Carbon and CO2
• 20+ years faculty experience and industry experience combined
• Experience with industrial instrumentation companies
• Ability to travel internationally
• Ability and motivation to work with minimal direction
• Strong decision making and problem‑solving skills, with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions
• Proactive, self‑motivated and self‑directing; able to drive deliverables and results which involves people who do not always report to you

Must be a US Citizen; this position requires obtaining a government security clearance.
