Requirements
1. Use and development of AWACS Technical Data utilizing Boeing and Supplier Engineering Source Data. Proficiency in applications and authoring tools such as Arbortext, Adobe Pro X, Excel, Word, CITRIX, REDARS, ADO and Boeing software applications (preferred)
2. Prefer Communications Systems experience (1st), Mission Systems experience (2nd), Avionics Systems experience (3rd)
Interprets and analyzes engineering, reliability, maintainability, supply chain, and customer operations data to develop effective product support solutions. Contributes to the design and execution of support systems that meet defined supportability, reliability, and availability requirements for aircraft systems and components.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Support & Supportability Engineering
Analyze engineering, reliability, and maintainability data to develop support analysis, provisioning, spares, and maintenance solutions.
Provide recommendations on product supportability, including operational maintenance tasks, support resources, and support systems.
Develop and support systems to achieve defined supportability requirements.
Assist in identifying logistics support candidates from product definitions.
Develop logistics support analysis (LSA) records, reports, and supporting documentation.
Determine spares and replacement parts provisioning requirements, including recommended levels and stocking strategies.
Support provisioning activities for a single customer and contract type.
Evaluate aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish and refine maintenance concepts.
Support reviewing maintenance effectiveness and availability metrics to improve system performance.
Write, review, and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and components.
Support the development, collection, analysis, and storage of system support technical data and specifications.
Develop and maintain technical publication elements for all levels of maintenance covering fielded equipment minor systems or multiple subsystems.
Create and update:
Theory of operations, Testing and troubleshooting procedures, Illustrated parts breakdowns, Removal and installation procedures, Schematic and wiring diagrams.
Research, collect, and validate technical source data and specifications using predefined and developed assumptions.
Analyze proposed changes and estimate their impact on technical publications and support elements.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and support teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and usability of support documentation.
