responsible for planning, scheduling and assisting engineers with documentation, process, testing and general engineering related support activities.

• perform detailed development work in the areas of rf, analog and digital electronics under the guidance of engineers
• work independently to resolve existing problems and/or malfunctions expeditiously
• collect and analyze engineering test data toward a given objective
• research and analyze electronic components for new designs and replacement of obsolete parts
• interpret drawings, specifications and work instructions
• implement and test engineering changes
• create test plans and procedures for products under development
• travel to environmental and electromagnetic interference testing labs to perform new development qualification testing
• travel to customer sites within the u.s. Or to europe to perform vehicle surveys, system installations and follow‑on testing as needed, oftentimes outdoors, and for a span of a few days to a few weeks

• intermediate experience with computers and various software applications to include ms office
• experience in development, test, or maintenance of rf or radar systems and airborne command, control, and telemetry systems preferred
• experience with mechanical and electro‑mechanical devices and tools desired
• ability to travel, foreign and domestic, up to 25%
• possess a passport or be willing and able to obtain (at company expense) to allow for work travel overseas
