Position Summary
Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) is seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our Health Clinic team as an Access Specialist. The ideal candidate enjoys working with the public, provides exceptional customer service, and is committed to ensuring every client has a positive and supportive experience.
ResponsibilitiesThe Access Specialist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and is responsible for front‑desk and administrative operations within the Health Clinic. Duties include greeting patients, answering phones, responding to inquiries, collecting and accurately entering patient information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR), scheduling and verifying appointments, notifying patients of prior balances, collecting payments, processing credit‑card transactions, balancing the cash drawer, and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
The Access Specialist is also responsible for cleaning the Health Clinic on Fridays. Strong multitasking skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with BCI staff and external stakeholders are essential to ensuring seamless clinic operations and positive patient experiences.
