Responsible for overall management of the day–to–day operation of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU and CVICU).

• Performance and Quality Improvement, Assists with Policies and Procedures process, Chest Pain Service Line, Stroke service Line, Sepsis data collection, Staffing/Productivity, Program Development, and Nursing care for specific patient population.
• The Manager must work closely with staff, physicians, and other directors to ensure quality patient care.
• The Manager guides the staff in the implementation of the nursing process and directs the cost effective allocation of resources.
• Demonstrates a high level of clinical competence that creates an environment of clinical excellence resulting in improved individual and group clinical outcomes. Facilitates individualized, evidence-based, highly effective care to patients and families through coordination/collaboration of the entire healthcare team.
• Through role modeling, coaching and demonstration, fosters learning for the staff and promotes outcomes-oriented nursing practice.

• Associates Nursing Degree required;
  Bachelors preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a Critical Care arena, candidates must have CVICU experience.
• Florida RN licensure required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
