Registered Nurse- PRN

Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) PRN opportunity at Gulf Coast Treatment Center, an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for adolescent females.

Location:

Fort Walton Beach, FL.

• Serve as the primary care coordinator for the interdisciplinary team and implement collaborative care plans prescribed by physicians and the treatment team.
• Provide leadership to maintain professional nursing practice standards in the clinical setting.
• Provide medical management and assessment of patients; ensure environmental safety; work with the treatment team to maintain a consistently therapeutic milieu.
• Cover PRN shifts; available for any shift and to cover other days/shifts as requested.

• Education:
  
  Graduate from an accredited nursing program; currently licensed as a Florida RN.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of two years as a registered nurse in a psychiatric healthcare facility and/or adolescent healthcare setting preferred.
