The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with state and specialty standards. Working with medical providers and the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN advocates for patients and families, modeling the organization’s mission and values.

• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered and documents care promptly in the patient record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs proactively.
• Educates patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, medications, side effects, and follow‑up care, translating complex terminology.
• Teaches non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes, preparing families for future self‑management.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment start.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment start.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment start.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months of employment start.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
