About the role: You will provide comprehensive small animal medicine support to our veterinary team, handling labs, pharmacy, nursing, and radiology. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with client scheduling, payments, and communication, ensuring positive client experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Essential Patient Care:
Assist the medical team with hands‑on care, ensuring each animal is treated with compassion and respect. - Be the Go‑To Support for the Medical Team:
Anticipate the needs of veterinarians and technicians to maintain a smooth, efficient workflow. - Create a Positive Client
Experience:
Collaborate with the front desk to facilitate scheduling, payments, and communications in a courteous manner. - Ensure a Safe and Clean Environment:
Maintain the hospital, perform clinic upkeep and equipment maintenance to uphold quality standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Calm, efficient, and able to remain composed in a fast‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills ranging from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology is a strong asset.
