Join our meat team and you’ll help ensure the quality, packaging, and display of our meat items for our members. Your attention to detail and steady hand contribute to selling a quality product.

You’ll be on the front-lines of customer service, and your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one.

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; and be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage members; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Ensures commitment to operational excellence; maintains work area according to policies and procedures; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policy.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocates for the department and club by focusing on the member experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; uses the Open Door Policy in executing business processes.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress and information; seeks opportunities for improvement and adapts to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts up to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
