Drywall Project Manager

The Drywall Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Washington, MD. This role oversees drywall projects from planning through completion, including reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing schedules, coordinating materials and labor, and monitoring progress on job sites. The Drywall Project Manager will manage subcontractors, communicate with clients and internal teams, and ensure work meets quality standards, building codes, and safety requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking budgets, handling change orders, resolving field issues and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The role also involves working closely with ownership and supervisors to improve processes, meet deadlines, and support the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Lead and manage complex projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all client expectations.
• Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Allocate resources effectively and manage project risks and issues.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in project management within the commercial drywall industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
