Position TitleChild Care Center Substitute Teacher
Position PurposeReporting to the Director, the substitute teacher will assist in classrooms on an on‑call as needed.
Responsibilities- Assist and implement daily activities of the child care group under the guidance of the Group Supervisor or an assistant.
- Ensure the health, safety and care of children, including feeding meals and snacks, potty training, changing diapers, assisting with bathroom needs, washing hands and faces, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Coordinate activities and maintain a positive, safe environment for all children.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with children (year(s) unspecified).
- Warming and eager to work with young children.
- Ability to assist children with personal care and hygiene, proper nutrition, and interaction with peers.
- Cooperative teamwork with the Child Care team.
