The Facilities and Biomedical Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing and leading the facilities/plant operations of the hospital and affiliated buildings and the biomedical engineering program.
Responsibilities- Responsible for oversight and management of the facilities/plant operations and biomed dept.
- Leads and manages service contracts facilities/plant operations and biomed
- Leads and manages preventive maintenance program for and facilities/plant operations and biomed.
- Manages and ensures competency of facilities/plant operations and biomed staff and assists in formulating an operating budget for both departments.
- Maintain efficient and effective operations for facilities/plant operations and biomed department in accordance with Joint Commission, state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.
- Collaborates with the AHC system and respective AHC entities with the facilities/plant operations and biomed departments for the design, renovation, solicitation and evaluating contractor bids, consulting with architects, engineers and other contractors.
- Associate’s degree required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (i.e. Mechanical engineering)
- 5 years’ healthcare experience, hospital experience preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience as a manager (in a healthcare setting) managing a department and budget.
- CHFM certificate required within 2 years.
Monday - Friday 7:30-4:00pm. May require some nights and weekends as needed.
Pay Range$89,356.80 - $
If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:United States of America (Exempt)
