Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP), Day Shift, Vascular Surgery

Overview

AMG Fort Washington Medical Center - Surgical Services. Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) for our Primary Care office in Fort Washington, MD who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner you will contribute to outpatient vascular care and collaborate with a physician-led team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient care to vascular surgery patients at physician practices located in Fort Washington and Silver Spring, Maryland.
  • Perform follow-up visits with post-operative patients.
  • Assist with inpatient consults.
  • Work in collaboration with a physician-led team and effectively communicate with site staff.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical background, business acumen, and a track record of leading quality initiatives in a group practice.
  • Maintain working knowledge and experience in vascular services and support the growth and development of the practice.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree, and postgraduate training in a clinical specialty (required).
  • At least 2 years clinical experience as a nurse practitioner with vascular experience (strongly preferred).
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the State of Maryland; current Maryland license from the Board of Nursing; board certification required.
  • Maintains eligibility to participate in the Medicare Program.
Work Schedule

Hours: Weekdays, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Pay Range

$50.80 – $76.20

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem, salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
