Job Description
The Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ER, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members. The RN will be responsible for triaging, monitoring patients, and managing emergency interventions based on patient needs and hospital protocols.
Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the emergency department.

• Perform patient assessments and develop nursing care plans.

• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.

• Assist in special procedures, including conscious sedation and minor ortho procedures.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

• Participate in triage and emergency response protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of RN experience in an emergency department.

• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications.

• Strong skills in medication administration and IV therapy.

• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.

• Experience with triage preferred but not required.
