Bookkeeper

This is a part-time, in-person role for a Bookkeeper based in Fort Wayne, IN. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), writing checks, and handling wire transfers. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills.

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare and issue checks for vendor payments
• Process and track wire transfers
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ledgers
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payment status
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting, specifically AP/AR
• Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books or similar)
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Strong understanding of Finance principles and practices
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in financial reporting
• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Previous experience handling checks and wire transfers preferred
