Ideal Safety Clerk will aid in all aspects of Safety Department operations and continue to make our safety culture world class.

Responsibilities- Safety Training assistance - scheduling, preparation, auditing, tracking, reporting, and distribution of materials
- Safety equipment assistance (new hires & others) - lockout locks/tags, fall protection equipment, etc.
- Safety Calendar - assistance with tracking initiatives status
- Hazard Communication Program assistance - SDS database and chemical inventories management.
- Safety Committee management - coordinate each plant's committee and monthly topics.
- Safety Coaching leadership - mentor and support all plant-level safety coaches with plant and division-specific safety initiatives and tasks
- Incident Management System (IMS) assistance (incident tracking, reports, etc.)
- Safety Audits (internal and external) assistance w/ prep & response
- Contractor Management assistance (Marsh, ISNetworld, hours, etc.)
- Worker's Comp assistance
- Communications assistance (Safety Alerts, Toolbox Talks, etc.)
- Support all safety personnel with division-specific safety initiatives and programs
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Office suite
- High school diploma or equivalent
- OHSA 10-Hour Course Completion
- CPR, AED, First-Aid Certification
- Degree in administrative field
- 2+ years clerical experience
- Experience with regulatory environment
