Director of Corporate Partnerships

Junction 36, powered by Indiana Tech, is seeking a senior professional to develop and manage strategic partnerships with businesses, entrepreneurs, and enterprises, expanding innovation and sustainability within the advanced manufacturing community. The Director will bring an entrepreneurial, business‑focused mindset, leveraging an extensive network to create solutions that support partner organizations through Junction 36’s services and the wider university ecosystem. The role is a self‑starter who champions Indiana Tech’s launch of the Junction 36 initiative and drives long‑term partner value.

Responsibilities
  • Define and implement strategic direction for Junction 36’s business services and corporate partnership programs.
  • Act as a strategic connector between Junction 36’s mission and the regional and state business community to build strong relationships.
  • Provide design, strategy, and facilitation to nurture collaborative relationships among Junction 36, its partners, and Indiana Tech.
  • Co‑develop and implement plans with the Executive Director to expand corporate partnerships and community networks.
  • Develop key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of corporate programs.
  • Identify partnership opportunities with target organizations through customized approaches to price, delivery, services, and content.
  • Represent Junction 36 at business and economic development gatherings, supporting existing partners and building new corporate relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Junction 36 team, Indiana Tech academic team, and corporate partnership team to identify collaboration opportunities and coordinate client projects.
  • Design and execute campaigns, communications, and events that activate corporate engagement and partnership.
  • Develop business cases and financial justifications for new programs and services.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain an updated corporate prospect list.
  • Meet performance goals as set by the Executive Director.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Preferred experience in engineering, engineering services, or related advanced manufacturing fields.
  • At least 5 years of prior relevant work experience in business development or B2B sales and marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience developing and tracking business metrics.
  • Proficiency with social media networks to foster and develop relationships.
  • Self‑driven, with a willingness and ability to meet goals.
  • Sound time‑management skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally, with occasional overnight stays.
