Job Description:

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Part-Time, 3-4 days weekly, Dental Assistant to join our growing portable IN team! This is a part-time position scheduled 3‑4 days, Monday through Friday based out of the Fort Wayne, IN area and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to local county jails and behavioral health. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low‐stress opportunity in a non‑private practice setting.

Travel could extend to 2.5‑3 hour travel, hotel stay provided if desired.

• $25 per hour for which includes drive time
• NO weekend or evening hours, and full benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account
• Company vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance card
• An active Indiana Dental Radiology License is required for this opportunity and willingness to obtain Ohio license

• Assist Dentist in chairside procedures
• Responsible for equipment and supplies as well as maintenance of company van
• Various administrative duties

• Current Indiana Dental Radiology License is a MUST and willingness to obtain Ohio license
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required
• 1‑year Dental Assistant experience preferred
• Willingness to travel within a 2‑3 hour radius of Fort Wayne
