Overview

Parkview Health is actively recruiting a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified
Vascular Surgeon to join our full-service team in Fort Wayne, Indiana
.

The candidate will join 3 Cardiac surgeons with over 70 years of combined experience. Currently, over 550 open vascular cases and 100+ EVARs per year are shared among 3 cardiovascular/thoracic surgeons. Our interventional cardiologists perform over 1300 peripheral catheterizations and 1000+ peripheral interventions. We are planning to integrate a full-time vascular surgeon into our practice to better serve the greater Fort Wayne area.

The successful candidate should be willing to collaborate with cardiothoracic surgery and interventional cardiology for the benefit of our community.

Our group is dedicated to integrating specialized vascular surgical care into Parkview Health System.

Possible weekly work patterns include 1 day for lower extremity peripheral occlusive vascular clinic, 1 day for elective vascular clinic (AAA, carotid, AV access, etc.), 1 hybrid OR day, and 2 open OR days.

Vascular surgery emergency call will be shared with the current Cardiovascular surgeons. Overflow elective cases will also be shared among partners.

Commonly performed procedures include:

• Carotid endarterectomy
• Peripheral bypass
• Peripheral angioplasty/stenting
• EVAR
• TEVAR
• Dialysis Access
• Combined procedures
