Summary The Part-Time High School Dual Credit English Teacher is responsible for delivering college-level English instruction to qualified high school students participating in a dual credit program. The instructor will provide a rigorous and engaging educational experience, preparing students for both high school graduation and college-level coursework.

• Develop and deliver curriculum aligned with college-level English standards and learning objectives.
• Provide direct instruction in English composition, literature, and critical analysis.
• Design and assess assignments, projects, and exams to evaluate student progress.
• Offer individualized support and feedback to promote student success.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Collaborate with high school staff, counselors, and college faculty to ensure seamless program delivery.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices and curriculum standards.

• Master's degree in English, Literature, Composition, or a related field.
• OR Master's degree in a different field and a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in English.
• AND Previous teaching experience at the high school or college level preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Must meet college and state qualifications for dual credit instructors.
