Job Title: Youth Pastor

Location: 3409 Hursh Road, Fort Wayne, IN

Term: Full Time (40 Hours)

Requirements: Bachelor s Degree in Ministry Preferred

The Youth Pastor will lead, disciple, and equip middle and high school students to follow Jesus for a lifetime. This role blends teaching, relational ministry, event planning, and team leadership, all within the context of a collaborative church staff. The Youth Pastor will model a teachable spirit, demonstrate a willingness to grow, and create an environment where students and leaders can thrive in their faith.

• Spiritual Leadership & Teaching
• Lead the weekly Sunday Night Youth Ministry service (6:00–8:00 PM).
• Provide intentional opportunities for students to grow in spiritual formation

• Relational Ministry
• Form genuine, Christ-centered relationships with students and their parents.
• Spend time with teenagers throughout the week
• Partner with parents to encourage and equip them in discipling their teens.

• Event Planning & Administration
• Plan and execute youth events, retreats, trips, and service projects throughout the year.
• Plan and administer the annual Youth Ministry budget.
• Maintain a consistent and engaging digital presence for the youth group

• Team Development
• Equip, disciple, and empower a strong team of youth ministry volunteers.
• Value and practice a team approach to collaborative ministry

• Teachable spirit and a willingness to grow.
• Personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Ability to teach biblical truth in a way that is relevant and engaging to students.

• 40 hours per week, which includes evenings and weekends for youth gatherings, events, and relational ministry.
• Occasional overnight trips, camps, and conferences.
