Job Title: Youth Pastor

Term: Full Time (40 Hours)
Requirements: Bachelor s Degree in Ministry Preferred

OverviewThe Youth Pastor will lead, disciple, and equip middle and high school students to follow Jesus for a lifetime. This role blends teaching, relational ministry, event planning, and team leadership, all within the context of a collaborative church staff. The Youth Pastor will model a teachable spirit, demonstrate a willingness to grow, and create an environment where students and leaders can thrive in their faith.
Responsibilities- Spiritual Leadership & Teaching
- Lead the weekly Sunday Night Youth Ministry service (6:00–8:00 PM).
- Provide intentional opportunities for students to grow in spiritual formation
- Relational Ministry
- Form genuine, Christ-centered relationships with students and their parents.
- Spend time with teenagers throughout the week
- Partner with parents to encourage and equip them in discipling their teens.
- Event Planning & Administration
- Plan and execute youth events, retreats, trips, and service projects throughout the year.
- Plan and administer the annual Youth Ministry budget.
- Maintain a consistent and engaging digital presence for the youth group
- Team Development
- Equip, disciple, and empower a strong team of youth ministry volunteers.
- Value and practice a team approach to collaborative ministry
- Teachable spirit and a willingness to grow.
- Personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Ability to teach biblical truth in a way that is relevant and engaging to students.
- 40 hours per week, which includes evenings and weekends for youth gatherings, events, and relational ministry.
- Occasional overnight trips, camps, and conferences.
