Overview

This dynamic leadership role will champion a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment by managing the student conduct process, ensuring compliance with Title IX and related regulations, and advancing education, prevention, and outreach initiatives. The Director will collaborate across campus to uphold community standards and foster a culture of equity and accountability.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the student conduct case load, conduct investigations, and communicate outcomes to the SVP Student Affairs.
  • Serve as Title IX Coordinator, ensuring university compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining records, and overseeing the investigation process.
  • Evaluate, review, and update Title IX policy annually; communicate policy changes to stakeholders.
  • Oversee training and education around Title IX for students and employees; facilitate training for investigators, advisors, hearing panel members, and decision‑makers.
  • Maintain and enforce the student behavioral code of conduct; develop new policies as needed.
  • Utilize Maxient Conduct Management software for case intake and reporting.
  • Coordinate with Residence Life, Athletics, Academic Affairs, and other offices regarding conduct investigations and decisions.
  • Collaborate with Campus Safety, Student Affairs, and Institutional Research to support Clery Act and VAWA compliance; assist with security reporting, education/prevention programming, and coordinated response efforts.
  • Help ensure accurate classification and reporting of Clery‑designated incidents.
  • Coordinate educational programming for Title IX, substance abuse, and related subjects.
  • Create accessible materials and resources for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Attend division, department, committee, and other meetings associated with the position.
  • Provide role‑model leadership to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the SVP in support of the institution.
Required Qualifications
  • Excellent organizational, time‑management, and collaboration skills.
  • Professional interpersonal and human relations skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicts, stress, and related issues involving students, faculty and administrators.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing and delivering training to diverse campus audiences.
  • Certification in Title IX coordination or investigations (e.g., ATIXA, NACUA).
  • Experience utilizing Maxient software for reporting and case management.
Experience
  • Minimum of five years successful experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Title IX administration in higher education or a similar setting.
  • Computer skills:
    Word (Intermediate), Excel (Intermediate), Outlook (Advanced), Maxient (Advanced preferred).
Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment on various campus locations. Some evening and weekend hours may be necessary to support campus events and activities.
