A classroom teacher supports student learning, growth, and development through their assigned classes and duties, and strengthens the mission of Bishop Luers High School. The theology teacher brings the Catholic Faith alive for students by teaching the curriculum based on the USCCB frameworks.

• Develop a positive, joyful, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment.
• Contribute in a positive way to the school environment.
• Plan and implement effective and engaging curriculum, instruction, assessment, and classroom management for assigned classes based on the USCCB frameworks.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
• Maintain professional conduct and adhere to all school and Diocesan policies and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with colleagues.
• Work well in a 1:1/blended learning environment.
• Serve as a strong Catholic role model for students and a resource for other curricular areas regarding Church teachings.

• Complete the diocesan theology teacher application and interview process.
• Be a registered, active Catholic.
• Be willing to obtain a master’s in theology if one is not currently held.

Start Date: Contracted for the remainder of the 2025‑2026 school year.
