Teacher English Language Learners – 2025‑2026 School Year

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district, state, and federal requirements, guidelines, and standards.

• Valid Indiana teaching license for assigned grade levels and/or subject areas, or eligibility to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
• For English as a New Language P‑12 or Teachers of English Learners P‑12 credentials; for Early Literacy Endorsement, at least 25 hours of approved Science of Reading training (upload proof of compliance if teaching retained grade 3).
• Knowledge of effective classroom instruction, lesson‑plan development, and instructional practices.

• Design, plan, and deliver effective lessons to English language learners in alignment with curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Participate in professional development and uphold ethical teaching practices.
