When it comes to flight, the margin for error should be considered nonexistent, especially with fuel systems. As an Aircraft Fuel Systems specialist, you’ll inspect, repair, and install fuel systems to ensure errors are minimal and don’t occur during flight. You’ll perform comprehensive checks on bladder cells and external and integral fuel tanks to make sure our aircrew can operate properly and carry out their objectives efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities
- Remove, repair, inspect, install, and modify aircraft fuel systems.
- Clean fuel cells and tanks and inspect for foreign objects, corrosion, and cell deterioration.
- Learn about internal hardware, sealing techniques, and materials.
- Interpret technical concepts and maintenance directives.

Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED
- Courses in general science or physics are desirable
- ASVAB score of 47 on Mechanical
