Join our client’s Advanced Electronics Systems Engineering team as a Senior Advanced DSP Systems Engineer
, where you’ll design and develop advanced algorithms and RF-based systems that directly support critical national defense programs. You will collaborate with a highly skilled cross-functional team to model, implement, and test complex signal processing solutions that push the boundaries of innovation.
- Analyze, design, develop, and test DSP algorithms for RF-based systems
- Develop and model algorithms for signal processing architecture and RF systems
- Conduct systems requirements analysis and performance verification
- Perform fixed-point model conversion for hardware implementation
- Lead software/hardware partitioning and integration efforts
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams on implementation and testing
- Execute hands-on system performance validation and testing in laboratory environments
- Apply statistical signal processing and detection/estimation theory techniques for algorithm development
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field
- 8+ years of relevant experience (or Master’s degree with 6+ years)
- Proficiency in digital signal processing for RF systems and algorithm modeling
- Strong understanding of systems requirements, performance validation, and fixed-point hardware modeling
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- Experience designing, implementing, and testing anti-jam systems (GNSS or Alt Nav preferred)
- Knowledge of STAP, SFAP, or similar anti-jam algorithms
- Familiarity with statistical and multi-rate signal processing
- Experience with Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications/Information Theory
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of success across the full systems development life cycle
- Agile development experience
