Base pay range: $23.70/hr - $28.00/hr location-based variations may apply. OverviewIntuit seeks motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as Turbo Tax Live Seasonal Local Service Associates. This seasonal role combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a Turbo Tax Live – Seasonal Local Service Associate, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”
Aboutthe Role
You will work on‑site from a Turbo Tax location, serving customers both in‑person and virtually using Intuit Turbo Tax products. You will provide full‑service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support. Your ability to understand each customer’s unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical to alleviating their stress. You will handle simple W‑2 filings, navigate life events, and tackle complex scenarios such as business income, amendments, and investments.
Additionally, you will grow Turbo Tax’s client base within the local community, establish long‑term relationships, and drive customer loyalty.
- Provide tax expertise – give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for Turbo Tax clients, handling simple to complex situations. Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning advice.
- Be a proactive community ambassador – embody a “community ambassador” and “business owner” mindset to cultivate a robust customer base, serving as the local face, nurturing leads, and converting prospects into long‑term clients.
- Educate and communicate confidently – represent Turbo Tax publicly, host engaging learning events, participate in local marketing, and demystify taxes.
- Build relationships – connect with people, demonstrate sensitivity to their financial concerns, and build trust that turns one‑time transactions into loyal relationships.
- Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience – interact with customers both in‑person and via Intuit’s video tools, addressing inquiries and helping them overcome tax‑related challenges.
As a Turbo Tax Live Seasonal Local Service Associate you’ll receive access to exceptional seasonal company benefits and resources, including:

- Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
- Familiarity with Circular 230.
- Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a Turbo Tax location.
- Interest in building a local and online social presence as a Turbo Tax Associate, creating content in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.
