Overview
Plans and leads quantitative and qualitative analyses across the spectrum of business issues and disciplines. Is a content and thought leader for operations and lower level finance staff and recommends how to approach an analysis, project, routine, or unusual circumstance. Coordinates a team effort on a business unit or more complex and critical financial task (i.e., Accounts Receivable reserves, and Decision Support).
Develops a strong and influential relationship with operations leaders providing guidance as to potential outcomes on hypothetical strategies. Seen as a financial expert of a given specialty or service line within the organization responsible for analyzing recurring outcomes and making recommendations for improvement. Develops a strong understanding of operations for the given service line or specialty.

- Acts as a content and thought leader for operations and lower level finance staff and recommends approaches to analyses, projects, routines, or unusual circumstances.
- Coordinates a team effort on complex financial tasks (e.g., Accounts Receivable reserves, Decision Support).
- Develops strong, influential relationships with operations leaders and provides guidance on potential outcomes of hypothetical strategies.
- Analyzes recurring outcomes and makes recommendations for improvement within a given service line or specialty.
- Develops a strong understanding of operations for the given service line or specialty.
- Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, business or other quantitative field. MBA/MHA preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Minimum of four years of experience in public accounting audit or seven years in private accounting, finance, operations analysis, preferably in healthcare, demonstrating ability to comprehend the relationship between business metrics, financial statements and operations.
- Highly motivated, productive, and results oriented.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills, ability to interpret data and analyses, see the big picture, and demonstrate depth of business knowledge.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, lead others, and collaborate in various circumstances.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks for multiple customers simultaneously.
- Knowledge of third-party payer reimbursement and broad understanding of coding and documentation requirements.
- Excellent skills in analyzing data and financial reports, planning deeper analyses, and communicating results to other leaders.
- Proficiency with software programs required to prepare and present documentation and education is helpful.
