Position: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Duties
* reviews and assesses changes or amendments to applicable policies, standards, directives or operations manuals to determine impact on squadron plans, policies, programs or operations.
* applies comprehensive knowledge and understanding of information technology, intelligence operations, and logistics functions in developing and monitoring local policy and procedures of the squadron.
* develops and implements plans and programs for monitoring and self inspection of squadron plans, programs and procedures in areas of computer network operations, intelligence, logistics and training.
* serves as squadron standardization/evaluation evaluator. Performs analysis, evaluates and examines team members as applicable to determine degree of proficiency and adherence to team procedures and team coordination requirements.
* determines applicability of established methods. Examines and evaluates alternative means of satisfying customer requirements.
* studies and evaluates the merits of new tactics, techniques, and procedures with respect to their applicability to integration of the io mission.
* monitors performance of squadron personnel to ensure mission readiness.
