Location: Lutheran Hospital
Role: RN / MSIC (TICU)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 5p-5a
GH bi-weekly: $72
RTO max: 6 days
CertificationsRequired:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH certification
1 week, starting with hospital-based learning classes on Day 1, including Cerner charting, compliance, and glucometer training. After classes, meet with unit educators, receive an orientation pack, and tour the unit. Remaining time on Day 1 is for online training and completing the orientation packet. Days 2 and 3 involve hands-on training with a preceptor RN on the unit. Additionally, one day will be spent on MSIC (3rd floor trauma ICU) and one day on ICU4 (4th floor neuro ICU).
ExperienceRequirements:
Minimum of 3 years of ICU RN experience or more.
Patient Ratio:Typically 2:1. Occasionally, due to staffing or patient stability, a 3:1 ratio may occur on a rotating basis.
