• Orientation
  : 1 week; day 1 is hospital-based learning classes (Cerner charting training, compliance training, and glucometer training). After classes you will meet with unit educators and will be provided with an orientation packet and unit tour. Remaining time that day is spent on required online training and orientation materials. Days 2 and 3 are spent on the unit with a preceptor RN;
  
  1 day on MSIC (3rd floor Trauma ICU) and 1 day on ICU4 (4th floor Neuro ICU).

  : 3 years ICU RN experience or more
• Patient ratio
  : 2:1 commonly; on some shifts there may be 1:1 care or 3:1 on more stable patients, rotated by assignment
