Staff Clinician I utilizes therapeutic skills to assess psychosocial functioning and provide intervention strategies to alleviate needs by offering individual, group, marital, and/or family therapy. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and assists with discharge planning, connecting patients to community resources and support services.

• Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other counseling related field.

• NVCI required within 60 days of employment.
• CPR required within 30 days of employment.
• Must be license eligible and obtain temporary license within 6 months of hire while pursuing full licensure and/or certification in related mental health field.

• 2 years in the health care or social service field; psychiatric hospital experience preferred.

• Must be available to work flexible hours and days of the week including weekends and evenings.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds; shared lifting 100 pounds.
