Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you’ll play a key role in helping residents rebuild strength, improve mobility, and achieve independence in a supportive, resident-first care setting in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Carry out therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist

Support residents with mobility training, exercises, and functional activities

Monitor and document resident progress, reporting updates to the Physical Therapist

Educate residents and families on therapy goals, safety practices, and home exercise routines

Encourage participation and create a positive therapy environment that promotes recovery

Ensure all therapy services meet Indiana state regulations and Kingston’s quality standards

Active Indiana Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care preferred (new grads welcome)

Strong clinical, documentation, and organizational skills

Compassionate approach and ability to motivate residents during therapy

Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to resident-focused care
